The TSS Telescope Swivel Sub was developed for using in multiple completions as a “union” to facilitate running additional tailpipe below a dual or triple packer. The telescoping action of the sub provides various stroke ,the normal stroke is 24 inches.

The swivel feature makes it possible to connect long and short string tailpipes are strapped together. This feature also allows leaving the weight of the tubing hanging in the slips while making up the connection between tubing and packer.

The Telescoping Swivel Sub may also be used to make up tailpipe between two dual packers or between a dual and a triple packer, since it telescopes to compensate for inaccuracies in measurement and to relieve the strain on the threads as they are made up.
